[bug] in multiview, program and preview are reversed

I have an ATEM Mini Pro

Several months ago, I upgraded our software from version 8 something (from 2020?) to 9.6.2. As of that upgrade, when I turn on the system, the Program and Preview windows are reversed. That is, the camera with the red box around it (i.e., live) appears in Preview, and the camera with the green box around it (i.e., the preview) is appearing in the Program window.

I can fix this from the ATEM Software Control, going to the Multiview tab, and clicking the switch button twice. However, this fix is temporary because the next time the ATEM is restarted, it reverts back to switched mode.

This isn't super important because the workaround I found takes only a few seconds to apply, but is there a different fix I should be trying?

I'm having the same problem. The content of the preview window is being broadcast, not the program window. Only since upgrading the firmware!

After changing the order/position of the screens in the multiview you have to click 'Save startup state' in the File menu of the ATEM Software Control software. This will ensure that the current state is saved and is restored the next time the ATEM is powered on.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I tried doing a "Save startup state" but that didn't do the trick.

To be clear, I want Program on the left and I want Preview on the right, and it already does that upon startup. The problem is that that the video into Program on the screen doesn't match which feed has the red box around it (it's swapped with Preview). That's why in the Multiview panel I have to switch "swap" twice to get what I want.

When you have the ATEM Software Control application open and you click on the Output menu, what is selected there? Maybe it has the Preview selected there instead of Program?
