Pyxis Interchangeable Lens Mount

Hey Guys!

Is it possible to change the lens mount on the Black Magic Pyxis?

I purchased the EF mount version of the camera without releasing how hard it would be to adapt to PL Mount.

Is there a solution to this problem? Seems like a major flaw in purchasing the EF version of the camera.

Any Info would be appreciated thanks!

If memory serves me correctly, the answer is “No.”

There are adapters to go from PL lenses to EF camera mounts, but that may be a problem if you want the lens electronics to the mounts’ contacts. I haven’t looked into that but perhaps Metabones or one of the other high-end adapters will work. If your PL lenses are manual or passive, should be less of a problem.

Which PL lenses do you have?

Return it asap and get the L mount version. The mount is not interchangeable!
