Fusion Controls Malformed with NVIDIA Driver 572.16

PostSat Feb 01, 2025 1:14 am

The latest NVIDIA Production/Studio driver, version 572.16, causes Fusion controls to be malformed. However, the controls appear normally with the previous driver, version 553.50.

I'm not seeing that here with the same Nvidia driver and Resolve version but I'm using an RTX4090, one generation after your GPU. Is Windows doing any scaling of the desktop?

With Driver version 553.50, all controls are properly formed. No scaling.

I've seen several posts with similar symptoms and in few occasions this was the solution. If you have that option, try it out.

I recently had this problem and I have not been able to solve it instead would use my home machine whenever I needed to use fusion as the interface for tracking and roto was totally broken on my office machine. I upgraded my home machine to the RTX A4000 and started to have the same issues and I have RTX A5000 at my office. Then I found this post. It seems to be the RTX Quadro cards causing the issue. BUT the 3D video editing setting fixed it thanks so much this was was super annoying and stressful.

That was it. Now running the latest driver, 572.83. Thank you for that suggestion.
