Micro Studio G2 and rest control...

PostWed Mar 05, 2025 4:10 pm

Wondering if you can have rest control along with a monitor on the HDMI and an SSD on the usb-c port at the same time.

What I would like to do is have more than the 4 buttons available for control, ie: turn on/off false color, focus peaking... Without having to jump through hoops just to get to them in the menu.

Thanks for and info.

HDMI is a separate port. And yes you can have Network and SSD with proper adapter to USB C…

Now wondering if you can activate false color through rest camera control, looking through the document I don't see that you can, maybe I'm missing it, can you save those as setting in presets? That could be a work around...

Thanks for any information.

The API continues to grow with each new camera release. The Micro will likely require an upgrade to 9.2 to use the expanded functionality if at all. This snippet is from the Ursa Cine manual.

It looks like you need to GET the display name (output) and then you can address the output with the desired boolean.

Good Luck
