I did a multiple interview shoot with my iphone 15 pro and the blackmagic cam app. I recorded to an external hdd.
The last interview i did was about 30mins and the file size is 10gb.
When i transferred all of the clips from the hard drive to my PC - imported them into Adobe Premiere ALL of the clips played in entirety.
The 30min clip however, only plays the first 9 seconds even though the file size is 10gb.
So i tried various ways of troubleshooting such as uploading the clip to google drive and to icloud from my phone and then tried to download it onto my PC - but still only get a 10gb file with 9 seconds.
BUT THEN - i saved the clip to my iphone 15 pro in the photo/video app and I am able to view the ENTIRE CLIP.
I recorded in rec709 - log - HVEC.
CAN SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP me understand why i can view the entire clip on my phone but all of the other methods i have tried won't allow me access to the full clip on my pc in adobe premiere?
One thing i haven't done is tried to import the clip into Davinci - could that be the issue?
I just don't understand why all of my other clips have no issues but this one clip does.
** I will say that when this interview was finished (since it was my last interview) I did not stop the recording as i chit-chatted with the person i was interviewing. When i came back to my phone there was a notice on the blackmagic cam app that i had run out of storage.
I wonder if that could be the reason? But like i said, I AM ABLE to view the whole clip on my phone.
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated as my deadline is approaching and i am unable to edit down this clip.
