Bug Report - sync issues when speeding up more than 1000%

I hate to create a second thread about this issue but the original one has "SOLVED" in the title and I doubt it will attract much attention from BMD.

This is a continuation of this thread: viewtopic.php?f=21&t=197713

Basically when speeding up a clip more than 1000%, the sound ends up out of sync.
This has been going on for quite some time. Still happening on 19.1.3.

When contacted, BMD support claimed they could not replicate the issue but people I know have confirmed this is happening - and the other thread is proving that.

Please see a clear example on the below video. @Peter Chamberlain, any chance you could at least acknowledge this issue and maybe confirm that this is on your list?

Having exactly the same issue here. This has been a very annoying bug for a really long time now. So long in fact that I just got used to working around it until Tony reminded me it was actually a bug!

The clip is from a Sony ZV-E10, 4K, 30fps, 60Mbps. But to be honest I've always seen this bug with any content I've tried.

I have experienced this same problem across several versions of Resolve and multiple media types, dating back several years. Most recently media from a Canon C300 mkII, Sony FX30, and Sony FX9 - all industry standard cameras.

This should be very simple for BMD to replicate (take literally any media and speed it up a lot), and I hope they finally put in the work to solve it.
