8.5 Beta - B4 Lens Compatibility

Did the update on my Ursa Broadcast G2. Canon HJ22X7.6B IASE

Several issues with iris control. I use the camera stand alone EFP/ENG/Cine (with DZO cine lenses)

1. Lost the ability to control the iris from the touch screen and the settings wheel.
2. No iris reading display on the LCD
3. No iris option in the "Auto Iris" section only shutter+iris, Iris+shutter
4. the slate would not recognize my lens which might be why iris control was lost.

I reverted back to the last firmware and full function was regained. The slate recognized the lens.

P.S. It would still be nice if an option existed to switch from gain to ISO depending if your using the camera in a broadcast or cine mode.

Thanks for the feedback. Canon HJ22X7.6B IASE S seems to be working okay on 8.5 so we will look into what is happening on the model without the S at the end.

Can you check the settings in the handgrip menu for serial communication please?

Have same issues with HJ17ex7.6B IRSE, reverted back to 8.1.2

Okay there is a lot of new lens code in 8.5 Beta so there should be better functionality with most lenses but we will look into those ones. Thanks for letting us know the model numbers.
