Subtitles Crash

When adding subtitles to a timeline with only audio and no video Resolve crashes. It does not create a crash report. Restarting the Project just crashes it again before I can do anything.

What I can find in Console just before Resolve crashes is:

I would like to confirm this excellent observation by Nikolai.

I was able to duplicate the "blank video" crashes audio subtitles bug twice consecutively. Then when I put a video clip to replace the blank section on the timeline, the subtitles worked as expected.

Would you be able to provide a screen recording and/or steps in a new project to reproduce the issue?

Can you add info on whether it was an unresponsive app or a crash to desktop, hang/beachball, machine reboot or something else?

Hi Shrinivas, appreciate your attention to the post. Today, I had time to go back to try and reproduce the problem, and of course, I couldn't recreate the problem. I will keep an eye out for it again as once the problem does surface, I can crash Resolve 4 or 5 times in a row no problem.
