Mini Blimp / Zeppelin

We all know, how big most blimps are, and how hugely important blimps can be.

For a special project, I need to scale down the blimp to a 7-8 inch (18-20 cm) size (long end) and max around 3 inch outer diameter (very thin mesh walls) and (15-18cm internal) size with optional cold-shoe type internal rail length wise.

Some kind of “alternative gear” (metal mesh etc) that can be assembled (somehow).

Any size dead cat/wombat is not a problem (Temu or Amazon has lot’s of “fur” options easily fitted/cut and sewn or stapled to size - Amazon often 2-3 times higher price, than the same product from the same Shenzhen manufacturer, in the cases I have experienced).

No need for cables.

Anyone know of such a product (link or name welcome) or an idea of “odds and pieces” that would be ideal for a “custom setup” (links welcome). Screw together parts preferred, but NOT the typical heavy plumber fittings (size wise, some could do, but…weight wise not ideal, unless I’ve looked the wrong place)

Thankyou very much for your quick response.

Alas... I visited their website (UK and EU), but they only quote what fits inside and price (plus the odd feature).

I'm size limited, and this is the first company I've found in a long time, that does not specify measurements (size and weight) and has no download link to tech specs.

Judging purely from images, I don't think they're in the running.

Radius is the former founders of Rycote. You can't look at pictures.

The model you are looking for is the Mini Alto 180.

Yes, That’s one of the two, I looked at. Problem is, that nowhere on the webpages measurements like size and weight was found. Only “what would fit inside”, Which doesn’t tell, if the “outside would fit inside limits” ;-) no links either (at least I couldn’t find any - maybe I’m just blind).

This the first actual size and weight specs I have seen. It’s on the (too?) large side for my purpose, I think, but I am very gratefull, that you took the time to help.

Following your link, it may be that the mini alto 115 may fit my use; weight may even be OK, but diameter not specified. If it’s similar to model 180, it’s probably too big, when the fur is added.

I’ll make a note. And await requested info from Radius.

Regards and a big thank you
