So, the new nice thing is the inability to render the video.
First, we found out that files were being transferred from DaVinci to DaVinci with errors, and now for the sixth time the running render crashes in different places.
By the way, the problem from version 19 has returned, when the render simply freezes and stops using the video card completely. But DaVinci himself pretends to be rendering something.
Sometimes DaVinci just collapses, crashing to the desktop. Sometimes he just writes an error.
By the way, I’ve been wanting to ask—why isn’t there automatic logging and log uploading to the server in beta versions? I think there’s even a checkbox for "Automatically send crash reports," but if I recall correctly, it’s never actually worked.
Yeah, I noticed this. I tried to render low res versions (e.g. 1280x720p) of a 4K timeline at an IN and OUT point that is NOT at the beginning of the timeline. It wouldn't render and the duration just counts up forever. Also when you try cancel the render, you have to Force quit it eventually to restart the project as it just locks.
This was a v19.1 project upgraded to v20 beta. Running on a 'Macintosh' 3970x 32core/64thread AMD.
Guys, either post the logs, or post reproducible DRPs or give the devs a specific thing that isn't working. In and out points work fine for me, meaning whatever isn't working is specific to your setup.

I set the In/Out points on the Edit page and added that range to the Render Queue on the Deliver page. However, when I start rendering, the entire timeline gets rendered instead of just the selected portion. windows11
