swap source to time line problem

PostThu Apr 17, 2025 4:14 am

I know there is already a topic on this but in sync bin my DJI osmo action 4 and tentacle sync were always several seconds out. I could "save the sync" and drag the file it made to the source viewer, go to the "timeline" menu and hit the swap button. Now it seems to be in the View menu, when I click it it looks like it does what I want, but I can't make any fine tuning to the alignment. I have to resort back to the edit page and just doing it all in the multicam view. This is very frustrating.

If it's a Multicam clip, you can 'Open in timeline' - at least on the edit page - does that work for you?

I haven't tried open in time line from the file the sync bin makes. This wouldn't be a problem if the stupid tentacle sync, and the DJI osmo action 4 would sync to the audio file from my tentacle track E. :x I thought time code would be the answer to all my problems.
