Hey guys,
I have a problem for which I found a rather clanky workflow.
I very often record long interviews - around an hour of uninterrupted audio and video. But
the problem is that my mixer makes my audio drift from the video pilot by around 16 frames/hour and Resolve can't synchronize the audio tracks with my three cameras(they synchronize just fine!).
My workflow is:
1. Make sure I clap at the beginning and end of the recording
2. Manually sync audio tracks with my camera sound to the starting clap.
3. Use elastic wave in fairlight to stretch the end of the audio to match the ending clap.
It sure works, but takes some time and is annoying if I ever forget to clap.
Question to the community: Is there any easier/faster workflow for drifted audio in Resolve?
Question to the devs: Are you planning to make any workarounds/automated drift correction? Plural Eyes used to do the trick with drift correction just fine, but since the program is dead I don't know if there's any automated solution for this on the market. I am aware that the use case of this is pretty narrow, but it would probably make some people like me happy

Thanks for your answers.
