Media Offline... every time i reopen my project

I know this must be post #1,567 on this topic, but looking at the other ones i didn't find this exact same issue!

What's happening is: i would open my project, and all media would show offline.
I'm able to re-link it (right click, "relink") and work on the project, make progress and everything is fine. I close the program obviously saving as i go along.
THEN i open DR on a different day.. and all media shows offline again.

I have been relinking each time i work on the project, but i would like to solve this specially now that i'm moving onto some stop animation work that will add extra layers to the process.

I'm on DaVinci Resolve 18, working on a macOS Monterey (v 12.5.1), storing media files remotely on an SSD.

Is this SSD listed in DaVinci Resolve preferences, system, media storage?
If you are using the App Store version, there is a checkbox under the DaVinci Resolve Preferences, system, storage that you should check on.

This solved the issue!
I added the drive i'm working from as one of the media storage locations (DR preferences>system) and now i've just reopened the app to see all my media linked up from the start.

Worked for me as well also with NAS. Every time opening Resolve all the files will have been disappeared and would have to relink until I went to settings and check marked the "Automatically display attached storage locations". It asked to me select the "Macintosh HD" main location from and voila! all files were back without restarting Resolve again even.
