Studio 20 crashing Neural Engine optimizations

PostSat Apr 12, 2025 4:24 am

Issue as stated in title.

Installed on Nobara Linux 41 (Fedora based). Crashes repeatably 100% of the time on Neural Engine updates. Nvidia RTX 4090, up to date drives. Logs attached

Same problem here! Crashes repeatably. If I skip the optimization, DVR starts and editing and color correction work. Trying to use "Auto Scene Cut Detection" crashes the program.
I use Mint 22 and installed using makeresolvedeb in the latest version. My CPU is Intel i7, graphics card GTX1660 Super with latest nvidia driver 570.133.07.

Hi,
Same here with Fedora 41/41, RTX 2060. No optimization, exits after few seconds in first position 1/8x. Skip and go on with edting. Hope they will fix this. There are some other "issues" as well but it's beta still.

Hi,
I tried with beta2 and today with beta3 - always the same, the program crashes.
It also crashes when I try to track something in Fusion (IntelliTrack1) as soon as I click on the "track forward and reverse" button. Maybe this is just a consequence of the missing optimization?
