I have Ubiquity equipment in my studio. Ubiquity is able to do "LACP" or link aggregation control protocol, but when I setup all 4 of the 10GbE links they don't work. It seems that they are just a "plain old switch" which means when just plugged in STP or spanning tree protocol turns 3 off due to that.
Is there any possibility of enabling the 4 ports as an LACP group so the device can have a single IP address and 40GbE of combined bandwidth???? This would make offloading much much faster.
(LACP is pretty standard, my Synology does 2x10GbE LCAP just fine to get 20GbE)
I saw that several of the cloud stores support "port aggregation" but little detail was offered as to if it was static LAG or LACP based...
It's a shame that I can only get 10GbE when it seems its a software limitation preventing 40GbE speeds!
