When I switch to using Resolve's built in "Clean Feed", my monitor flashes black quite often. When I switch to my Decklink, this issue is not there. I've tried all 3 of my monitors with the Clean Feed, and they all exhibit the same behavior.

The theory is that this is a problem with the EDID (Extended Display Identification Data) filtering in the HDMI signal. If you get an HDMI splitter from Amazon (or eBay), generally one side of the splitter removes the EDID and just gives you a clean signal without blackouts. There's a thousand discussions about this on the web. https://www.homeowner.com/theater-and-stereo/hdmi-edid

No, Marc - unless you are telling us that this is a new version 20 issue. I’ve been using video clean feed for years with this hardware setup and never saw this issue. It is happening with v20 almost every time I pause the playback of the timeline. If I’d been seeing this all along I’d agree that EDID might explain things but this sudden change with the installation of v20 points to it being a version 20 problem.
