Unsupported GPU Processing Mode

When booting I get error: "Unsupported GPU Processing Mode"
"Please review the GPU drivers and GPU congiguration under preferences"
*I click on Update Configuration to fix issue.*
*Click on Memory and GPU, as it defaulted to Media Storage*
*Notice my 4060 is listed as having -0.0GB of Vram, Details: Unknown Not Supported*
*Notice my 1080 ti listed as having 11.0 GB of Vram, details: Unknown Not Supported*
Note: My GPU drivers are up to date, and reinstalled clean install, same issue.
*Unchecked GPU processing mode 'AUTO', no dropdown list for manual selection of GPU processing mode*
*Uncheck GPU selection 'Auto', Still unable to manually select GPU from list*
at this point im thinking maybe i need to save with GPU processing mode not on auto, But when I save...
Error: "Please set GPU selection mode to 'AUTO' or at least 1 GPU."
So I click 'OK', and the whole program crashes.

Going back to 19 till this is fixed. Hit me up if you have a solution.

I would recommend physically pulling the 1080. You don't need it and will do fine (maybe even better) with the single 4060.

At the risk of being the pedantic nerd, what exactly does that mean in terms of version numbers? Up to date according to your operating system vendor, your card manufacturer or Black Magic? DaVinci Resolve is rather fussy about driver versions.

When running two cards with different capabilities, performance and memory will devolve to that of the lesser card.
So you might be better without the 1080. (unless the 4060 really does have -0.0 GB of memory)

If you set the GPU selector to manual and only select one of them it may work. The 3060 will be faster due to the AI features and tenser cores. I have a 1080 and it works fine, just slow for AI things like magic mask. I suspect the "processing mode" Auto has chosen by default is not compatible with both cards.

Having both cards in the system can be an advantage as the windows settings display "graphics" settings in windows 11 allows you to set different apps to different cards do you can say set handbrake, Media Encoder, or FFmpeg to the 1080ti and set Resolve to the 3060TI in Resolve Preferences editing and hardware encoding in external apps is now possible.
This method also works for manually assigning the iGPU for particular tasks.
