What gets people in a bind is when they don't pay attention to the fact there are at least three separate and independent history mechanisms, much like cache systems. They function separately. Its important to understand that or you might get all the wrong impressions. There are other gotcha elements to keep in mind, but I would suggest you reference the reference manual for more details.
Well, LumaFusion has unlimited undo levels and it's only limited by the amount of RAM you have, as the developer said . On the other hand, some software gives you the option to select how many undo levels you want. For example, in CorelDraw I can set the undo level from 1 to 99999 which in my book is virtually unlimited

I wish Resolve had this option.
So if Resolve technically has unrestricted undo history, then it should be only limited by the amount of RAM I have, and I have plenty, but in my case, I was able to undo maybe around 20 times or less before it stopped and this happened already 2 times during my current project. I am not sure if this is a bug in V20 or something else but I don't recall I faced this problem with Resolve 19 or with Vegas Pro.
I will check the references manual after I finish my current project. Thank you for your feedback.
