Where is the "Replace selected clip" option???

PostSun Apr 27, 2025 1:00 pm

Am I crazy or there is no way to swap a clip with another one anymore??

Man, I'm wasting so much time right now on a short edit, I should have been done like 30 mins ago!

Is it under 'Clip Operations' in the menu you are showing?

Under a right click on a video in the media pool.
I did that many times in the past, and I really don't remember going anywhere else than the menu of the clip itself.

Ok, it's under clip operation!
Woaaa, I got scared.

I'm not crazy, it was at the "root" level of the clip menu before right?

Yes - it appears BMD moved a lot of menu items into submenus in this release - I didn't get the memo, either.

I looked at the right click menu 20 times to be sure I wasn't missing something. So used to have it at the same place for years. And even with reading the menu line by line I didn't caught the "clip operations".

But hey, they do that all the time with updates, they don't put all the changes in the changelogs - and they should!

It's not that hard to have a complete and accurate changelogs.
