Crashing Opening R19 Converted project, Logs

M1 128gb

R project form 2024. big complex 8K project, 15 layers of video, 12+ tracks audio with fx, 5.1.
I had prev project open. Then I open 2024 project from R19 into R20. Asks to Upgrade Project, Ok
Project opens for a couple secs and then R. instantly crash / vanishes.
Open Project again, crash right after splash screen ( I have open prev project set )
Try again, start R, this time project window opens, I select the converted project, R promptly crashes.

Update 1: Started R up, opened different projects, they work ok. Finally tried to open converted 2024 project and it did open. Hit Play and instantly crashed out. Play button didn't turn organge as it normally does.

I suspect that there may be a Roland VST or AU causing problems. when I went to open the project one time, it triggered the Roland lic manager to ask to login. that appears to of completed ok. so I can understand maybe that happened due to VST in unlicensed state. Ok then ignore it, disable it. Not sure this is actual cause, or just unrelated event.

and we are back to crashing when opening the project. guess I may try to disable things like plugins if I can get the project to stay open, maybe eventually isolate it. see how much of the days this wastes

Update 2 : tried exporting project to DRP from project window. that opens and crashes immediately out.

Update 3 : opened up older R19 project. simple selects TL works ok. opening main TL which is 7760X1080, initially renders image, move CTI a bit and crash. Going to try to manually clear render cache, check a few other things. This older backup is 2 full vers back so if my 2024 ver won't I'm, I'm beyond screwed. its MONTHS of work.

Update 4 : seems R19.1.4 will not open old project as expected . Ok let's just pull up backup copy from TimeMachine since DB is on system drive. Oh my TM isn't running. Thanks OS 15.5 update. There was a glimmer of hope TM would use the existing backup, but nope. So my backups are not there. Great.
reinstalled R20b2 and now it crashes at 92% done loading project, repeatably. Just wonderfully great. A fine day. at least I don't have anything deliverable today from this project, I can hope that the problem gets sorted out by the next build.

Update 5: updated OS to 15.5b4 not that I expected this would change anything. Project is still crashing R out at 92% on project loading. I can share project file with private link in DM if that will help.

I need to be clear I'm 100% dead in the water right now on this project. If this was a client with an immediate need, I'd be in one of the places no one ever wants to be. This project ver represents MONTHS of work at risk. Some response would be appreciated in getting it open as I do have to work with it in the next few weeks I think.
