In DaVinci Resolve 20, editing keyframes has become more cumbersome. Previously, keyframes could be accessed directly below the timeline. Now, they open in a separate window—or even on a different screen when using Full-Screen Timeline mode.
A major issue is that the playhead in the timeline no longer syncs with the playhead in the keyframe editor. This makes it nearly impossible to work precisely—especially when trying to align video keyframes with the audio waveform.
It would be very helpful if we still had the option to drop down the keyframes directly beneath the clip, like in previous versions.
Also, what is the purpose of the "keyframe icon" above the timeline (next to the audio recorder and timeline view options)? It's always greyed out and unclickable when using the Full-Screen Timeline.
Relinking Clips
Is anyone else experiencing issues with relinking clips in the media pool? It seems no longer possible to relink an individual offline (red) clip. The only available option is to relink all files in the entire bin or folder.
This is particularly frustrating when I update an image or logo in another program and simply want to reload or relink that single file. Unfortunately, this doesn't seem to work anymore.
Workspace Panel Switching (DR 20, Windows - Portrait Mode)
Another issue I encountered in DaVinci Resolve 20 on Windows: when working on a rotated (portrait mode) screen, it's not possible to directly switch panels in the workspace. You first have to manually deselect the currently active panel before you can select another one. This happens consistently in portrait orientation and really slows down the workflow.
