Relink issues

Hi everyone

I'm working on pc I am continuesly having issue with linking clips when ever close and open davinci it's getting media offline, I work on both various projects and contains different harddrives if I want to open a specific project I eject all the harddrive and connect only what I am working on the project, if open the priveous project after completing this and back to previous project all the files are offline ( I am connecting the harddrives as previously connected)

Any solution for this and drive letter always changes and I have to relink manually and it's consuming time

Work on a Desktop using internal drives only.

When you reattach a drive on Windows you have to take steps to make sure it attaches to the same drive letter as before.

Other than that there’s nothing special about internal vs external drives.

That sounds like an OS problem and not a Resolve problem. Assuming you're on Windows, here's a method from Microsoft for assigning permanent drive letters:
