Feature Request

I was kinda hoping for it in Camera Update 9.5, but, for the BMCC 6K, it would be very handy to have more anamorphic desqueeze options in Open Gate. Now it is limited to a very rare 1.6x desqueeze, but the below ones would be very handy:
- 1.33x
- 1.5x
- 2x

For vertical anamorphic:
- divided by 1.33
- divided by 1.5
- divided by 2

Just wanted to add myself to this request – and perhaps suggest to change the thread name to – "BMCC 6K Feature Request – Set any desqueeze factor"

They've done it on Pyxis, it should be in the BMCC 6K

Also, it's not about only Open Gate – you may want to utilize this freedom in any filming mode depending on scenario. One should not be forced to use an external monitor for just being able to desqueeze properly given that there is such a good screen on the camera itself...

Unfortunately Blackmagic has yet to comment on the situation, but they rarely do when it comes to future features. John Brawley has mentioned in the past that different desqueezes are sometimes hardware limited in terms of processing power, so it might not be a simple software update after all.
