DaVinc Resolve Studio 20.0b3_Mac changed the color

PostMon May 05, 2025 7:54 pm

Hi, Loaded DaVinci_Resolve_Studio_20.0b3_Mac. Opened the project I am working on and all of the colors looked like log footage with an over the top warm cast to them. So I reloaded the Beta 20.2. and everything returned to normal.

Sounds like a color management problem. My first step would be screen shots of color management settings and see if Beta 3 changed defaults.

Hopefully if someone else on Beta 3 sees the same problem they can provide.

The 'Mac viewers' setting is also very important, it might be the cause of the change.

Found the problem. It was color management. I am using an Aces transform in a group and they must have changed the Input transform name of Arri Log C to Arri LogC E11800-CSC. So Aces transfer node didn't know what to make of that. Simple fix but Jeez. pretty annoying
