I've been experiencing frequent freezing and crashing when the MediaOut node in Fusion is set to Mix or Color.

Steps to reproduce the issue:

-Open a clip in Fusion and add some nodes.

-Set the MediaOut to Mix.

-Switch to the Edit page and enable Smart Cache.

-Add multiple layers on top of your clip and let them cache.

-Eventually, reopening the original clip in Fusion causes the program to freeze.

Lose the viewer on the fusion page very often - changing fusion comp lengths seems to really confuse the cache and cause freezes and lock ups.

Thank you - yes, I can share. Here is the log from the project I've been struggling with. I am completely stumped as to what I can do to fix, or what I need to not do to continue experiencing crashes and hangs.

I believe it's cache related, and I noticed that when I click on 'none' on the MediaOut page, it seems to reduce the problems.

At this point I have reinstalled resolve with a completely fresh start, deleted all cache files, updated every driver I can think of...

Quoted log snippets seldom work for us in terms of narrowing down issues. The best way to share logs would be to:

Invoke Help menu > Create Diagnostic Logs on Desktop to create a timestamped zip file on your Desktop folder.
- If you cannot load your project, you can start a new project to get to the Help menu and generate logs.
- If you cannot start Resolve at all, look for and double click the Capture Logs utility in DaVinci Resolve app support folder (below) to get the same zip file.
- App support folder by OS:
  Mac OS: /Library/Application Support/Blackmagic Design/DaVinci Resolve/
  Windows: C:/Program Files/Blackmagic Design/DaVinci Resolve/
  Linux: Rocky Linux has a convenient OS shortcut - Applications menu > DaVinci Resolve > DaVinci Resolve Capture Logs
• Consolidate other relevant (or requested) files - could be a comp, a project, piece of media, a system information file, script, EDL etc.
• Add to a file share service - could be DropBox, iCloud, Google Drive, One Drive, Wetransfer or other services.
• Generate a shareable link - i.e. one that allows access without login. For DropBox, iCloud, One Drive and Google Drive you will need to enable this in the Share options and copy the URL from there.

Main problem is hang-ups when accessing a certain fusion comp, slow playblack in fusion (this is improved in beta 3 significantly) and random crashes to desktop when dealing with this particular project.

I think I was able to reproduce this bug:

- Have a clip in the fusion page, set the mediaout to "color"
- Flip back to edit page, do anything - but the clip has to cache a bit for this to error out.
- Flip back to fusion page, and composition might freeze.

If I set the media out to 'none' before I go back to the edit page, then returning to fusion doesn't seem to create a freeze.
