Disable tumbnails while drag and drop clips from bin

While this feature might be useful to some users, I find it problematic. When dragging and dropping a clip or multiple clips from the bin to the timeline, the large thumbnail obstructs the view of the timeline area where I want to place the clips. As a result, it's difficult or even impossible to accurately drop them in the desired position. It would be helpful to have an option to disable or minimize the thumbnail preview during this action.

agree - I was just about to file this as a bug. please disable this not so helpful "feature"

This has been mentioned before, but I will give another +1.

I would like an option to disable ALL animations. I have also never liked the animation when trimming clips. Just let me turn them all completely off.
