Can you stop auto sync with shared projects?

PostTue May 27, 2025 4:23 pm

Every project I create in a shared database with Blackmagic cloud starts proxying everything and uploading it (to a very limited space), and then I have to manually go onto the web portal, search through dozens of folders to find and delete the proxies. (can we please get a search system that searches inside folders lol)

Is there a way to stop this being an auto setting? I know I can turn it off when I create a new project but I almost always manage to forget

Project Settings>Blackmagic Cloud...
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

Yes but it likes to pop back up every time I open a new project, if I forget to change that before I import footage it becomes a painful process, I have tried to save it as default but sometimes it enjoys ignoring that request

It's a Project Setting. As with all projects, you will need to set those for every project.

There are Presets you can use to make this easier, though. And we can save our custom settings for the Default project. These Presets are access via the three dot menu for Project Settings.
