Micro studio G2 gyro...

PostFri Nov 01, 2024 3:43 pm

I know the pyxis is all the rage right now but any word on when they can get the gyro sync problem fixed in the micro studio G2 so we can stabilize our shots?

Thanks

Is there a problem or is there no gyro?

Yes. You can't enter lens data so the gyro data is junk.

I believe the explanation is that there's a sync problem. I've been waiting for this as well.

I am having the same issue. Gyro Stabilization the the pocket4k is great but is it possible for the micro G2?

what lens are you using on the bmpcc4k? who is setting lens details on cam in metadata settings a priori, especially for cinema lenses? could you give some examples?

Michael, one should set the lens information and the focal length used in the camera slate function of the camera such as the BMPCC4K and in post DaVinci Resolve will use it to help stabilize the shot.

It's always grayed out for me. I can't write in that field in the options of my Micro G2.
