PostSat May 31, 2025 9:05 am

Hi,
I want to erase inscription on grave. So, I use "paint" tool under fusion to do it. It works well.

But, when someone is walking in front of the grave, I get some artefacts due to painting. I don't know how to solve this problem ?

if there is movement in the shot, freeze frame and track the portion to paint on and mask it so you don't apply freeze frame to everything. If there is someone walking in front. you will need to rotoscop them as well and track them. The reference manual has section of paint tool and there are tutorials you can find on how to use it on youtube and elsewhere. Its a classical paint job. When in paint and roto category of tasks, search for paint and roto tutorials.

Thank you for answering. There is no movement in the shot.Only one person is walking in front of the grave. I will try to rotoscop her with magic mask

Than you should have easier time. You can paint on the area you want to clean up. If there is no light changes in the shot, its best to freeze frame it, using timespeed, time stretcher, or turning off update of the node, and just track her with mack mask and add her on top as a composite. I don't know how close the person is to the area you painted on, but if there is shadows passing by etc, that might be something tricky you will have to deal with separately.
