Keyframes for stabilization settings

PostSat May 31, 2025 8:14 pm

Why is the stabilization panel the ONLY one in the Inspector for video that doesn't have keyframes? I really want to be able to keyframe the strength, and maybe the other settings as well, but strength primarily, so that I can ramp the stabilization up and down smoothly for parts of a shot that don't need stabilization and/or end up worse because of warpy glitches from the stabilization or something. But I do want to stabilize all the other parts of the same shot, and there's currently no way to do that without cutting up the shot into different clips and then finding some difficult way of bridging the cut points. It seems to me that the obvious thing to do is just let me keyframe the strength of the stabilization. Can we PLEASE have that feature added?

Use stabilization in color page where there is dedicated panel with several differnt options for doing stabilization and adjustments. After that explode fusion methods. There are quite a few. Edit page is the same as color page in terms of three types of stabilization except in the edit page its click and done more or less, quick and dirty. Color page is where you would do more or refine what you did. Fusion page is for hard cases or VFX work. Edit page is primerally for editing. It should be treated as such.
