Hello!
I installed the latest Studio update to 20, backed up my database before that, and now I created a new project.
I sorted my clips, aligned them, etc., everything is nice and smooth. But when I hit space bar to play, sometimes it does nothing. Just now, I tried to replicate the issue, but could not make it happen again.
But in this project alone, this has happened a few times already. Maybe because of caching issues? I don't know. The clips are not even graded, they don't have any effects at all (I'm not seing the thin blue bar for the smart cache).
After I placed the clips in two different video tracks, I press space bar to play to see the result. It plays, but its not as I wanted, so I drag one clip a few seconds to the side. Hit space bar again. Doesn't play? I hit the "play" icon with the mouse cursor, and that worked. I hit space bar, and now it works (stopping the play).
While I'm writing this, I tried again and again to replicate the issue, without success. However, I did notice it seems more prone to happen if I have Dual Viwer Mode on. With Single Viewer Mode, I could not replicate the issue. I tried with Dual Viewer Mode, and it happened once, only for the issue to disappear after the first play action.
Even if this is not game-breaking, just thought about posting this here and see if more people are having this. I did a search before posting, and the only thing I found was from years ago (2022 or so).
