What does the icon below do? Once in a while during my multicam cutting the razorblade icon changes into this and I don't know how to get back to the razorblade. I now switch to a non-multicam mode and back to multicam to fix it, but there must be a better way. I'm on a Mac, but it happened in Windows as well.
Strange indeed. If it's the cutter I can change it to the switcher by holding the ALT/OPT key (that's not even unhandy ), but when it is spontaneously changed to the switcher I can't undo this without switching to for instance the source and back to get the cutter again.
That icon appears when the Multicam clip is loaded into the Source viewer from the Media Pool. This is standard and is expected behaviour. The regular "cut and switch" icon appears when Multicam is selected in the Source viewer dropdown, bottom left of the viewer.
If you select "Source" from the dropdown after using Multicam, it loads the Media Pool version of the Multicam clip into the Source viewer so all angles can be viewed on a Decklink connected monitor. Then this icon appears, which is correct behaviour.

But I don't leave the multicam view when it happens. And when it happens I switch to another mode (for example the source viewer) and immediately return to the multicam view to get the cutter back. It happens a few times per hour and it gets to my nerves.
