Newbie DVD Type Menu Creation

I have a project that I need to have menu options to select specfiic chapters when needed like a dvd menu. I have seen youtube videos on creating the look with cropped repeated video and titles like play etc but not how to connect for example if some clicks on chapter one from the menu it starts playing chapter 1 of the project. Thanks in advance for any help on this issue

Resolve is not a DVD authoring program. I do have a feature request in to add it but I don't see that happening as companies prefer low quality streaming delivery for convenience sake.

If I have chapter markers in my project is there a way to render the project in a way that Video has the ability to choose what chapter I want to watch? Example 5 chapter markers in the project, when playing the video is ther a way to jump to chapter 3 without watching the chapters 1 and 2?

You can either burn a dvd or blue ray to get chapters ( in menu ) or upload to google and follow directions listed in link I will add. It splits your video into sections based on chapter markers.

I use adobe encore to burn dvd and blue ray because I have an old version ( CS6 ). Doing it is complicated. If you care to visit the adobe forums you may get some alternative advice ( click on adobe premiere forum for best results ) because adobe stopped supporting encore when it became a subscription service after CS6.

That is a function of the player. The video alone can't do it.
