Nice to be able to right click effect and save settings

PostTue Jun 10, 2025 3:58 pm

I would love the ability to be able to save my video effects for instance grid or blank fill. Each time I use them which is every day I have to reset them up they'd be nice if I could just right click on it after I set it up and say save as default.

I started using da Vinci resolve at Version 16 and since then you're continuing like add a lot of things but some of the very basic things never get fixed or updated so again I just like to suggest making it much easier to save settings in effects as default.

Thanks

+1
Stability and Quality of Life improvements are lacking in the last few versions. Saving defaults and presets for effects would be a big addition. Completely basic and obvious from day 1, but a big addition.

Yep, I've said it before and I'll say it again... stop adding more rooms to your house when you aren't even cleaning the ones you have. :?

In some cases, you can use the plug-in as a node and save just that node as a PowerGrade. But I agree, it'd be a lot neater to save it as a user preset.

+1 they've focused a lot on adding long asked for features and QoL things in V20 so I believe it'll continue with future releases

And the worst is in Dr Version 20 I can't even save my desktop layouts every time I use vertical profile it resets them in vertical profile layout is terrible can't customize it at all. Why can't we customize the desktop and save it so it's the same desktop on every project we use here again this is a basic function that should have been taken care of before adding anything else!
