Hey guys,
I use the Sound Library Feature in Resolve for My Audio Work. It works well and I like the idea. But there is something that does not feel right.
Each Sound Library must stay inside its own project library. If I want one for music, one for sound effects, and one for other things like Splice, I must create separate project libraries for each one. These project libraries do not hold any real projects. They just sit there. I only create them to organize sound.
Now my Project Manager shows many empty project libraries. They are not useful for anything else. I only use them to keep my sound files in different folders. It works but it feels messy.
Does Resolve 20 fix this? Can I keep multiple sound folders inside one sound library now? Or is the system still the same? I want to know if there is a better way to do this.
basically, the way I use the Sound Library is through the Sound Library tab.
There is this panel where I can choose what sound library to use. But the choices that show up there all come from the project libraries that I create. So again I must create one project library per category. Is there a better way? Is it solved in DaVinci Resolve 20?
