CloudStore Response Slow on MacOS but Fine on Windows

Bit of a puzzler, but I have a CloudStore 8Tb connected to a 10G network in my office. I have Both a Mac Studio and PC workstation connecting to it via SMB.

1. In MacOS 15 when opening the file browser the responsiveness is terrible. It can take minutes for a large list of files to appear in the browser window (shows a loading text with a circular pattern), and this slow file behavior carries over to the Media Pool in Resolve, making it a huge bottleneck to work with.

2. In Windows 11, the CloudStore works as you would expect an SSD Raid on a 10GB network to. Very snappy, and file list response is almost instantaneous.

3. I have a Qnap NAS that is also connected on the same network. When accessing a shared folder from the Mac on this device, the file browsing works perfectly well, snappy and instantaneous.

Is there something with the MacOS implementation of SMB that's causing issues with the CloudStore? Again it works perfectly well via SMB from the Qnap.
