Is it possible to stabilize all four of these corners?

PostMon Jun 16, 2025 7:36 pm

I'm wondering if I can stabilize ALL four corners of these printouts that I turn into animation. As you can see, I can only do two corners which works for the most part but it would be a dream if I could lock down all four of them to get the image as stable as possible.

I stabilized what you see here in After Effects, (just the two corners) but I feel like there is a better way in fusion.

I should be able to lock down all four corner tracker points somehow correct?

Yes. You could apply planar tracker with as many points as it can get to track. I gave it a quick try, and this is what I got.

Essentially I use planar tracker set to translation, rotation and scale. Points. Blue channel.

And than after tracking I set it to steady to lock it down.

Because there seems to be some differences between surrounding frame and image I freeze frame the whole image the outer portions.

Its not 100% steady but you could tweak it some more if you put some time into it.

I also tried to use filter tool set to sobel for less distractions for the tracker.

I can only do two corners

Why is that? I missed the part explaining why you can only do two.
