Blackmagic Camera App - Issues/Bugs

I downloaded this a few weeks ago as I wanted more control when vlogging - but the app just keeps closing with no notice.

I have it set to save within app and to my camera roll and when this crash happens - it doesn’t save to my camera roll

I really want to love this, but it’s not reliable ☹️

It would help to know what phone make and model you are attempting to use.

That's what i'm using and I haven't seen any crashes.
Can u revisit all the specific settings, any additional hardware and workflow and provide more info so we can try to repo.

I believe I have figured out the issue. I’ve been accessing the app via the “camera button” from the Lock Screen. When the screen dims, app stops!

I’ve just unlocked my phone and recorded for over five minutes with no issues.

Bit of a pain to have to unlock phone each time, but I’ll make do
