ARRIRAW real-time playback

Hi,

A little curious about how to get realtime playback of ARRIRAW 4:3 footage....

Currently only getting 8 - 12 fps

I have a 12 core 2,66 Ghz Mac Pro, 500Mb/s Drive, 6GB RAM, Nvidia 4000 and a Blackmagic SDI....

Any suggestions or settings I am missing (ARRI RAW specs 2880 x 2160 RAW via CODEX

I just tested some 2K ARRI RAW @ 25fps footage in Resolve 8.2.1 on a MacPro (5,1) and was getting 25fps playback with a few nodes thrown on.

2 x 2.93 GHz 6-Core Intel Xeon
26GB 1333 MHz DDR3 RAM
3 x 1TB SATA drives in Software RAID
ATI Radeon HD 5770
NVIDIA Quadro 4000

Since you have a single GPU, you need to turn on the Optimized monitoring in the Video monitoring section to get a little bit more performance.

I discovered that it had to do with Resolve 9. Once I downgraded I had no problem at all
