Fusion 3D navigation, very slower than C4D

PostTue Dec 15, 2015 5:07 pm

Hi everybody,

i'm using C4D on a macbook laptop and when i work on a 3d model as a car with multiple parts (a hundred for exemple) the navigation in the viewport is very smoother and faster than fusion.

I know i'm not working on a powerfull graphic station but i ask myself if there is special settings than can improve performances and that explain the performance diffrences between two same kinds of application on the same machine.

My configuration:
2,5 GHz Intel Core i5
16 Go 1600 MHz DDR3
Intel HD Graphics 4000 1024 Mo
Macintosh SSD

thank you

I've found,

when all nodes corresponding to each model part are selected in flow panel, the navigation become very slow so i just have to unselect all nodes by clicking in blank area of the flow panel and the 3d navigation become fluid.

thank you

That's likely because of the preview controls. Ctrl-K will disable those. If that's the fix, then it's 100% a GPU issue, that type of drawing is trivial for discrete GPU's.
