.cine phantom metadata

PostTue Jan 26, 2016 8:54 am

Hello,

I have to work on Phantom camera footage ( .cine file). Is there a way to know the record's framerate the camera used for a footage ?

Thanks

Vincent

Yes, the metadata contains framerate, shutter, gain, etc..

Just a heads up, .cine can be read by Fusion, but you shouldn't use it for anything other than preview/proxy. The debayering isn't as good as what you'd get with say, Resolve, or a standalone converter.

Thanks for the tip and sorry for the late reply.
So I should first convert it with Resolve. I just downloaded it for another problem.

I 'll try asap.

Vincent.

Do a side-by-side comparison with one frame from Resolve and one in Fusion. It might have been fixed, it's been a while since I tried it.

Actually, please post your results here, might help others.
