Much easier to see

PostSun Feb 07, 2016 5:42 pm

It'd be so much easier to read if every tool has it's own gradient color by default.

I just figured out that I can actually right click every tool in the properties panel and save it's default settings!

Hi!

The save as default setting works on tools too, very convenient!

Your comp still looks pretty messy to me though =] Did you know you can select a portion of your comp (for instance the 3D nodes) and press ctrl-g to group it? It will collapse into 1 node with all necessary in-and-outputs available. Also, you can then easily grab that group and move it around your comp for a clearer layout.

Talking about how to organise the work area, one of my students sent in this. Notes, underlays, groups and whatnot.

I wept a bit :-)
