Yes, you hit the nail on the head Rick, I also noticed the audio sounded like something was missing. I suggest you work in recording audio,mor get a audio recording person involved. Mic'ing and recording a band is not an easy task, and to do it right takes more than two or three mics. A drum kit alone requires at least three mics, plus one for the drimmer's voice, if he sings too. A multitrack recorder is useually used, and the sound track edited in post to get the desired balance in the overall sound.
When shooting a music performance, audio is more important than the video part.
