Fusion is 'old school' when it comes to audio... really just a scratch track. I haven't been able to get audio out of Quicktimes, so the guaranteed way to make it work is to extract the audio from your QT as a .WAV file and then add that to your "comp" by selecting the AUDIO tab in your SAVER node. If you'd like to 'see' the waveform, make sure you're viewing the SAVER node in the TIMELINE tab of your displays (ie. Flow/Console/Timeline/Spline). This should give you sound, but if it doesn't do the 'right-click' on the Audio icon and make sure the .WAV is selected.
