Fusion/Resolve I/O

PostThu Sep 01, 2016 9:25 am

Hi there,

I used the Fusion Connect feature last week extensively, and i have to say that i really like it.
It is almost as good as it was 10 years ago when Ruediger and I first demonstrated our script for Fusion and Scratch to Eyeon and Assimilate ;)

So, my question is, is it possible to switch the video I/o to Fusion when Fusion is in the foreground ?
Right now i have to render my comp and switch back to Resolve to play it on the projector.
I am thinking of the way AE is doing it.
We are working on small details that are just visible when played back, so i either need to quit Resolve first, then launch Fusion and use recent to find the latest project or live without a preview.

cheers

In the Resolve General Options you need to enable "Release Video I/O hardware when not in Focus" Then when you switch to Fusion it will allow Fusion to take over your BM card. Although I do have issues with Resolve then trying to claim it back now and again...
