Building PySide2 for Fusion

PostMon Dec 12, 2016 12:13 am

Hello,
I'm looking into building PySide2 from source for fusion, i want to make sure i don't have any conflict with Fusions reliance on Qt5 dll's...

I'm hoping to run it along Python 27, as that is the vfx industry standard, and all our pipeline tools are running on that.

So compiling libraries for Python 27 is usually done with VSC 9.0, but i think it might not work properly with fusion unless a compile PySide with the same Visual Studio Compiler, that is used in the Qt version of fusion, can one of you guys let me know what version is this? I'm guessing 13?

Also, I'm guessing i will also have to compile my version of python27 using the same version? maybe that's not needed as all versions of python seem to work pretty groovy...

Can some anyone here provide me some guidance please :)
Thanks in advanced guys :)

cheers,
Los.
