How to navigate pixel by pixel with keyboard

PostWed Nov 30, 2016 6:51 pm

When loading an image to Fusion, is there a way to use the keyboard to move pixel by pixel and inspect the values? It is hard to do it by the mouse because how easily it will slip.

Xf will let you move the pixels around with the arrow keys. Probe will let you move the sample point around with arrow keys.

Hey Chad, sorry for the late reply, could you clarify what "Xf" is? I am not able to find a thing called "Xf" to navigate pixel by pixel with keyboard.

I think that should be the transform node. Just press ctrl+space and type xf.

Hey David, thanks for the clarification. I was able to get the transform node out and move the transform window around with the arrow key. However, I could not find a way to read out the Position (X, Y) and Color (R, G, B, A). The position and color at the left bottom always remain the same regardless of how I move the transform window with the arrow key, the values of the position and color seems to be locked to a random pixel. How can I get the read out of the position and color when I move the transform window?
