Congrats! I imagine I will be the same when mine finally arrives.

My heart skips a beat when I get promo emails from my reseller, I just see their logo and then realise its not a dispatch notification, hahah I am so pathetic :-p

From Modern Family:

Gloria: "I really want you to be happy. Can you forgive me?"
Sonia: "It will take some time."
Gloria: "As much as you need."
Sonia: "And some dresses."
Gloria: "As many as you want."
Sonia: "And some shoes."
Gloria (reasoning with her): "You're angry now."

Vermietet einer von euch "Glücklichen" evtl die Cam für einen Tag? ;)

Nothing new from Marcotec.. guess I went with the wrong strategy - should have ordered from one of the smaller resellers to get higher up in line, stooooopid... :(

To quote Teltec:

AF Marcotec still has gotten only one unit so far.

As everyone they have no idea when there will be more...

I know it depends on when the reseller ordered at black magic and how many they ordered but still, e.g. adorama is fulfilling december preorders and and many non-us resellers have only gotten one camera so far with people waiting since right after NAB. It's a bit strange. I hope there is a logical explanation for it.

Hi, got three cameras ordered directly from a friend who knows the german guys last week to munich ;)
Also shoot two cameras on ebay.com but at this time only one shipped :( I hope the secound realy exists
I actualy bid on Ebay 290858107221 (ends in four days).
Plan to use camera in three 3d-Setups. One free shoulder, one on Jib and one on Steadycam. It takes me lot of extra money for custum fees but much less than red workflow with six cams :)
Which you the powr 2 wait!!! Lucky to live in west-germany, so the chances are better then in DDR.

Talking to many shops in Germany there's just one simple thing left to say in this thread.
And I'll repeat this week over week if nothing changes.

Dear Blackmagic,
Please send more cameras to german resellers!

Freitag haben wir eine Kamera von bpm (Hamburg) bekommen. Es war zwar nicht die Kamera die wir selbst bestellt hatten, aber ein Bekannter hat uns seine Kamera für unser aktuelles Projekt angeboten. Bestellt irgendwann Anfang Mai.

With ~30 resellers that means the reseller you chose gets one camera every 3 weeks.

BMCC Germany Reseller Teltec says today an it's Facebook Page: "The glass is half full and that the delivery is still difficult." But they note that the buyers will now get the Firmeware 1.2-Version.

Hi Andi,
as far as I remember, it was a day or two after I saw it listed at Steller-Online (still in April). I was the third or so, but the first two cancelled after a while. I don't think this is of much help for you, but at least it shows that German Resellers are getting cameras constantly.

I think the camera is worth waiting and was/is the step-up from HDSLR filming I was hoping for.

does it show that? I'm not sure.. Most dealers seem to have gotten one camera max. that's not a real constant flow of cameras...

exactly... whats up with that? nearly march and only a single camera here and there popping up, seems most (by far) are going to the US. would have been better to preorder somewhere over the big pond
