Title animation

PostMon Mar 13, 2017 8:57 pm

I've never used Fusion, just looking into what capabilities it has. I'm contemplating getting rid of my Adobe CC subscription for Resolve for editing and grading, but I wanted to know if Fusion would be able to replace the relatively simple tasks I use AE for. I came across this video for titles; however, I wasn't sure if it was something Fusion already features, or if it was something this gentleman created. Would creating title animations like these be something that a newcomer to Fusion could learn in a reasonable amount of time? These would be able to link back to Resolve edit?

Thanks,

If I recall correctly, that's the output of a privately developed Fuse or macro that has not yet been released.

In my opinion, text animation is not as easy to do in Fusion as it is in AE. Others may disagree, and I'll readily admit that I'm no good at motion graphics. On the other hand, Fusion's 3d system is loads better, and that opens up some options that you don't get with Adobe.
