Didn't realize till now that the iPhone double posted this. So I'll write a little about the video:
This is an update on the Summer Activities video I did last year. 70% of it is new footage. I got new footage of the new Zip Line that was added to the mountain, and as well golf footage that I didn't get last year because of rain, and then as well some hiking footage I was missing because I thought I had got it with the 2.5K BMCC, but I had deleted it, and so one and so forth. All the additional footage is from the UM4.6K. In fact, the whole video is now UM4.6K footage.

Here is the Summer Activities Video that I mentioned above. Very pleased with how the update came out. Again, 70% of the video is new footage from last year's version.



URSA Mini 4.6K EF, with Rokinon Cine Lenses, Hitech Formatt Firecrest NDIR Filters & Tiffen Polarizer, and a mixture of 4.6K RAW 4:1 and UHD ProRes 422 HQ.
Edited & Graded in Resolve 14 Beta.
VFX & Graphics done in mixture of Fusion & After Effects w/ Cinema 4D.

Bismarck, the usual 80/20 rule as applies to music videos--80% shots of the music group, 20% other things--is reversed here and it's a pleasure to add a strong sense of story as well. Award winning approach.

I haven't been posting much lately though as I'm in the final week of finishing an 80 minute video in Resolve 12.5. 9 hours to do my first render (currently running) on my iMac 27" Retina. Effects for video and audio including noise reduction on the low-light portions and lots of stabilized shots and music to mix with the audio. I might take August off to recover, unless I have another wedding which is tentative so far.

Seeing the benefits of a faster system, but have to make do with what I have for now.

Here's something I shot recently for fun at a Meet & Greet type of networking event. It was an event for Photographers and Models to get together and interact. So I brought my trusty old URSA Mini 4.6K and got some awesome RAW footage.

Hi! Thank you very much. Not it was just a ND and IR Filter on it. I used Nikon AIS Lenses. They have kind of their own look to them.

As for the fade-to-black, might be an argument to go for fade-to-white so we know you're still alive, and more importantly, your camera is alive.

The bmcc mft is a certainly versatile tool!

This is episode 4 of a web series I shot, graded and edited. It's missing an intro, credits, reenactment footage. It was a five camera shoot.

First official wedding video i've done:
(4:1 Raw in 2.4:1 ratio)
(original music by me)

First video with the URSA MINI PRO - and shogun flame. LOVE how the shogun flame worked together with the UMP in the desert sun. ABSOLUTLE no issues with the brightness and heat! But i noticed that now i need a better monitor for color grading.

Metal music video. Completely made by myself (I'm the bassist, too).
Used BMPCC with different lenses. Band scenes are mostly panasonic 7-14, closeup sigma 19. Girl szenes were mostly shot with Arri Ultra16 8mm/1.3 @open aperture.

Anyways, here's a preview of the scene recreation I just shot with one of those models. It's a scene from Bride of Chucky. Shot in 1080 ProRes 444 with Rokinon Cinema 50mm and Canon 100mm F2.8 Macro lens. Still working on the audio. Also, we're talking about how to add the Chucky shots.

Here's a cymbal line celebration I directed and shot for Zildjian on my URSA 4Kv2 and a Canon CN-E 35mm lens. Added some grain because... I like it. And it gives it the 90s film feel for Wayne's World.

Hey guys I filmed a music video that is more of a short with a twist near the end! I would like super honest critique so I may grow!

I realize at the start I got carried away with my glidecam. I should used a couple stationary shots instead maybe.

Which fw did you use on um4kef with the the Canon 18-135mm 3.5-5.6 stm.
I have the Canon ef 24-105mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM on my um4kef fw 4.4 and the autofocus and manuell focus dont work at all. Only autoiris works..

My wife and I shot this using the Blackmagic Micro Cinema Camera. We shot it for a couple of friends who are expecting a baby soon.

Shot another workout video with the UMP. All shot with iso 1600 in a small room and in the bolivian mountains with ISO 400. There was some fixed pattern noise. But not to bad actually. If anybody is watching it, u can skip everything between 1:15 and 10:30... its just a boring 10 minute exercise. ANY criticism on shooting, editing, acting is welcome.

Keeping with tradition and the Halloween spirit, my team and I try and come out with at least one little horror short every year. Here is 1 of 2 we did for this year. Shot on the Ursa Mini 4K with Sigma 18-35 Art.

This is the unofficial "Timbutt2" cut as I'm calling it. The reason is that two of the girls had to be cut from the video for the club since they had an altercation with some individuals right outside the club and had to be let go. This resulted in them no longer being able to be in the marketing material for the club. I'm keeping this version private to my website, the BMD forums, and the URSA Mini & DaVinci Resolve Facebook Groups. The reason being I prefer this cut with the two girls included because the shots of them are better than what I had to replace them with.

This is a video I did for a Gentlemen's Club nearby. What I love is that the name of the club is DaVinci's and I used DaVinci Resolve to edit and color grade the video. Yup, it's pretty cool the connection.

Shot with the URSA Mini 4.6K EF with Rokinon lenses (mainly 24mm and a little 35mm) in UHD ProRes 422. Crop guides were set to 2.4:1 so that I could crop it in post. Shot at 23.98 fps, with the final dance being all shot at 60 fps for slow-motion. The glow-stick dancer was a mixture of regular speed and slow-motion.
